The AWCape International Training Academy is a Sage recognised training facility and all trainers are fully Sage certified. The fully equipped Academy is a popular Cape Town based training destination for domestic & international delegates. Services include full accommodation in premier grade hotels that are close to the training venue. A full range of shuttle services are included to cater for collection from Cape Town International airport, daily drop-off and collection between hotel and training venue and visits to popular Cape Town venues and events after hours.
Courses are carefully designed to build knowledge and understanding of various solutions using our tried and tested training methodology. It is important to note that all our courses are modular and can be adapted to suit your unique training needs. Customised and group training can be designed according to a company’s exact requirements.

Terms and Conditions
Prices are exclusive of VAT.
Fees are quoted in ZAR and are based on a minimum attendance of 5 delegates, except where stated differently.
Max of 10 students per course.
Training is payable in advance and is due before commencement of training.
Each delegate will receive a course certificate upon completion and payment of the course.
Quotations are valid for 14 days.
Training may be rescheduled or cancelled if classroom size is less than 5 delegates.
Training may be rescheduled or cancelled without penalty up to 12:00 noon, three (3) business days prior to the start of the class. Failure to notify AWCape Training of any changes to the above conditions within the specified time will result in a rescheduling fee of 50% of the VAT inclusive rate for rescheduled delegates and 100% of the VAT inclusive rate upon cancellation of said training.
AWCape reserves the right to change the training schedule at any time.
AWCape reserves the right to cancel courses for any reason, which includes where course registrations are below minimum levels. AWCape will give attendees at least two calendar days’ notice prior to the course date of any cancellation. In this instance, registration fees will be refunded. AWCape does not take responsibility for airfare penalties incurred by the cancellation of a course, nor will any travel or hotel cancellation fees/penalties be re-imbursed.
Attendee Cancellation Obligations
Attendees may cancel or transfer course dates without penalty up to 14 calendar days prior to the course start date. If a cancellation or transfer request is made less that 14 days prior to start date, a service fee of R1000 will be incurred. Cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to the course start time will result in forfeiture of the course fee.

Dr Khalil du Plessis – Sage 300 accounting Trainer
Khalil is AWCape’s chief solutions architect. He is a Sage 300, Technisoft Service Manager, Sage Manufacturing & MS Dynamics AX professional with a D.Mgmt and a Bachelor’s in Accounting. His consulting experience spans over 27 years with recent 13 years spent as an enterprise consultant engaged in designing, implementing and supporting Sage 300 for large organisations in Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, India and UAE. He has competencies in business engagement, Enterprise Systems project management and Business Process optimisation and is committed to continuous improvement through the utilisation of Enterprise Systems and the Lean philosophy.
Salomi Kruger – Excel & Business Intelligence Trainer
Salomi graduated with a B.Tech in Marketing from NMMU in 2003. Subsequently she has also studied towards a B.Com in Management Accountancy and worked in London within the finance industry for 8 years. Upon return to South Africa in 2011, she has worked extensively as part of a team who specializes in BI reporting within the SAGE product range. She was also the primary Excel trainer at SAGE Cape Town for a number of years with a real passion for teaching. Salomi is a busy mother of two little girls who enjoys being creative in her hobbies of pottery and interior design.
Nicola Jade Leibrandt - Sage 300 People trainer
Nicola is an experienced, qualified and astute Human Resources Management professional with over 5 years operational, consulting and management experience in FMCG, telecommunications and computer software industries. Her career started as HR Intern at Unilever, where she was promoted to HR Partner. She later joined MTN as a Business Partner. Whilst at AWCape, Nicola is a fully certified Sage 300 People certified with main focus to provide solutions for HR systems improvement and profitability. This results not only in process simplification, but also time and cost saving for businesses.
Angelique Cant – Sage 300 People & VIP Premier Trainer
Angelique has been a Payroll consultant with Sage since 2013, certified to implement and support Sage 200 (VIP Premier ) and Sage 300 People. She is a specialist in advanced payroll tax, outsourced payroll solutions and training. Angelique is very experienced in handling large customer volumes, requiring advance and complex payroll processing services and solutions. She supported major clients while at Sage, and is bringing a wealth of experience including service excellence to AWCape.
Gail Cawood - Marketing & Sales Coordinator
Gail Cawood started off in the Sales/Marketing division with the first Unilever Tea company which became Liptons. Subsequently worked in Client Service on retail accounts for several large Advertising Agencies and then went onto the client side of Marketing at the Foschini Group. Sales experience in various sectors including Website Design, Graphic Design Products, Manufacturing, Property and AWCape Training Academy.
Subeiga Arnold – Services and Training Administrator
Subeiga is AWCape’s Services & Training Administrator and her responsibility includes actively managing the AWCape Customer Support System deployed on a SharePoint Intranet. Subeiga is also responsible for Training Administration and is well known for her meticulous attention to detail.
