Henri Hattingh – Chief Executive Officer
Henri is a founding member of the SA Institute for Industrial Engineers. His first Sage business became SA’s best performing Sage Accpac business partner between 1991 and 1993. Prior to the establishment of AWCape, Henri was involved in a number of successful business turnarounds for which he was awarded Business Person of the Year (large business category) in 1998 from the Knysna/Plettenberg Bay Chamber of Business and in 2008 Finalist in the Western Cape Chamber of Business Exporter of the year award.
Dr Khalil du Plessis – Director - Professional Services
Khalil is AWCape’s chief solutions architect. He is a Sage 300, Technisoft Service Manager, Sage Manufacturing & MS Dynamics AX professional with a D.Mgmt and a Bachelor’s in Accounting. His consulting experience spans over 27 years with recent 13 years spent as an enterprise consultant engaged in designing, implementing and supporting Sage 300 for large organisations in Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, India and UAE. He has competencies in business engagement, Enterprise Systems project management and Business Process optimisation and is committed to continuous improvement through the utilisation of Enterprise Systems and the Lean philosophy.
Ruan Schreuder – Divisional Manager – HR & Payroll systems
Ruan is a certified Sage 300 People and Sage VIP Premier Payroll Consultant who completed his Premier training in 2012 and worked himself up from a Junior Consultant to a Senior consultant and finally to a Sage 300 People Payroll Consultant. Ruan has won numerous Performance and Innovation awards for work done while working at Sage.
Gadija Hendricks – Financial Manager
Gadija is a shareholder and AWCape’s Financial Manager. She is responsible for all accounting and administrative matters and is especially well known and highly regarded for her meticulous attention to detail, dependability and patience in dealing with queries from both customers & suppliers. Her colleagues recognize her as possibly the best example of ‘the perfect accountant’.
Subeiga Arnold – Services and Training Administrator
Subeiga is AWCape’s Services & Training Administrator and her responsibility includes actively managing the AWCape Customer Support System deployed on a SharePoint Intranet. Subeiga is also responsible for Training Administration and is well known for her meticulous attention to detail.
Madeleine Hattingh – Group Business Administrator
Madeleine is the AWCape & AWPower group’s Business Administrator, in particular responsible for legal and contractual matters. She was previously Senior Legal Advisor in Old Mutual’s Corporate Law Division. Prior to that, she was Programme Manager at Armscor for 15 years, responsible for the acquisition of logistic support for the SA Navy vessels. She completed her BIuris and LLB-Degrees at University of Pretoria and UNISA, respectively.
Gail Cawood – Marketing & Sales Coordinator
Gail Cawood started off in the Sales/Marketing division with the first Unilever Tea company which became Liptons. Subsequently worked in Client Service on retail accounts for several large Advertising Agencies and then went onto the client side of Marketing at the Foschini Group. Sales experience in various sectors including Website Design, Graphic Design Products, Manufacturing, Property and AWCape Training Academy.
