The AWCape International Training Academy is a Sage recognized training facility and all trainers are fully Sage certified. The Academy is a popular Cape Town based training destination for domestic & international delegates and services include full accommodation in a Radisson or Tsogo Sun hotel that is close to the training venue. A full range of shuttle services are included to cater for collection from Cape Town International airport, daily drop-off and collection between hotel and training venue and visits to popular Cape Town venues and events after hours.

Courses are carefully designed to build knowledge and understanding of various solutions using our tried and tested training methodology. It is important to note that all our courses are modular and can be adapted to suit your unique training needs. Customized training can be designed according to a company’s exact requirements, following completion of Pre-training Assessments on the page below. The minimum of 6 delegates are required for customized training.

In order to determine the skills level of delegates, please complete the Pre-training Assessment below.

The facilities at AWCape International Training Academy include the following:

  • A laptop loaded with Windows 10 for each delegate
  • Access to Sage 300c and/or 2016 deployed on a Virtual Private Server (VPS)
  • High quality HDMI projector
  • Free Wi-Fi usage for each delegate
  • Lounge with lunch and other refreshment facilities.

Terms and Conditions

  • Prices are exclusive of VAT.
  • Fees are quoted in ZAR and are based on a minimum attendance of 4 delegates, except where stated differently.
  • Max of 10 students per course.
  • Training is payable in advance and is due before commencement of training.
  • Each delegate will receive a course certificate upon completion and payment of the course.
  • Quotations are valid for 14 days.
  • Training may be rescheduled or cancelled without penalty up to 12:00 noon, three (3) business days prior to the start of the class. Failure to notify AWCape Training of any changes to the above conditions within the specified time will result in a rescheduling fee of 50% of the VAT inclusive rate for rescheduled delegates and 100% of the VAT inclusive rate upon cancellation of said training.

Dr Khalil du Plessis

Enterprise Systems Consultant & Resource Manager

Khalil is a shareholder in AWCape and certified Sage 300, Technisoft Service Manager, Sage Manufacturing & MS Dynamics AX professional with a D.Mgmt and a Bachelor’s in Accounting. His consulting experience spans over 26 years with the last 13 years spent as an enterprise consultant engaged in designing, implementing and supporting Sage 300 for large organisations in Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, India and UAE. He has competencies in business engagement, Enterprise Systems project management and Business Process optimisation and is committed to continuous improvement through the utilisation of Enterprise Systems and the Lean philosophy.

Karen Hendrikz

Senior HR & Payroll Advisor & Trainer

Karen has an M.Com (HRM) with 20+ years’ experience in training and consulting in HR & Payroll management. A large part of this experience was gained while working for SAGE. Karen initially worked in the Payroll Consulting Department as a Payroll Consultant and then a Consulting Manager. During this time she was instrumental in implementing the consulting methodology of SAGE VIP at SAGE Micropay in Australia. Upon returning to South Africa, Karen started up the Recruitment and Payroll Outsourcing Departments for SAGE VIP in Cape Town. During the final four years of her career at SAGE VIP, Karen held the position of Cape Town Branch Manager.

Kaashiefa Anthony

ERP Consultant & Trainer

Kaashiefa is a certified Sage 300 Consultant and has a National Diploma in Internal Auditing. She has broad-based experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, costing and reporting and more than 10 years’ experience using Sage 300 (Accpac) in a manufacturing environment, including at Rex Trueform/Queenspark, Auto Armor, SA Fruit Exporters and Pharma Dynamics. Previous accounting experience includes Old Mutual, KFM Radio and SAMWUMED. Kaashiefa is a runner who is not scared of long distances.

Frans Snyders

Divisional Director Industrial Engineering

Frans is a shareholder of AWCape and has a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Stellenbosch, specializing in mobile devices, and he is a technical expert on the deployment of Sage 300 in a hosted and large network environment. Frans is also a specialist in Business Intelligence & Business Efficiency Reporting where he designed & implemented systems for Pepkor Africa, Mooivallei Dairies, Ecowize, Vida e Caffé and Montague Fruit & Nut. He has recently also cut his teeth in Procurement Workflow. Frans can do magical things with anything technical which sounds impossible to do.

Subeiga Arnold

Services Administrator

Subeiga is AWCape’s Services Administrator and her responsibility includes actively managing the AWCape Customer Support System deployed on a SharePoint Intranet. Subeiga is also responsible for Training Administration and is well known for her meticulous attention to detail.
